Tish is a beautiful story about an imaginary friend and his adventures with three children. The stories explore childhood imagination, friendships and heartbreak. I had the opportunity to design the cover, section openers and page style. The design had to complement the beautiful illustrations, whilst ensuring there was a strength and vibrance to the design.
The subtle stitching is a nod to the handmade – well-loved and repaired toys – and silhouettes of the children with custom lettering were used in section openers to act as moments of crisp boldness, punctuating through the book.
